Changing Light Bulbs
We can simply change the bulbs that are “burned out” with customer provided bulbs, or we can arrange for a representative to give a whole house quote to switch from Incandescent to LED. The choice is always up to you.
We have been asked many times, “What is the big advantage to going to LED light bulbs from standard incandescent bulbs?”
The easiest way to explain the answer is as follows, 75% less energy used. L.E.D. Stands for Light Emitting Diode. They are little semiconductors wrapped in a protective plastic shell that helps to focus the light emitted.
- LED bulbs produce more light using less electricity (daily cost savings).
- LED bulbs emit less heat than a comparable incandescent bulb (A/C or cooling system doesn’t need to work quite as hard, again daily cost savings).
- LED bulbs, on average, last much longer than a comparable incandescent bulb.
The only disadvantage is the initial cost, but considering the cost savings over the life of the bulb, LED’s are a smarter choice.
Let us know if you would be interested in a whole house change-out or just need a couple of the “high ones” replaced.
NOTE: Some light fixtures have built-in bulbs that aren’t serviceable or replaceable.
